Full Body Analysis in Fayetteville, GA
Go Beyond the Scale at Beautè Medical Aesthetics
If you’ve ever been told to “just lose weight” without anyone explaining what you’re losing—fat, muscle, water, or bone—you already know why Body Analysis matters.
At Beautè Medical Aesthetics in Fayetteville, GA, we use advanced Body Analysis technology to look far beyond the bathroom scale. In one non-invasive session, we can evaluate:
- Fat vs. lean mass
- Visceral (organ) fat vs. subcutaneous (surface) fat
- Muscle quality, strength, and balance
- Water balance, edema markers, and bone mineral status
- Metabolic age, daily caloric needs, and 3D body shape
This data helps us design safer, smarter medical weight loss plans, track progress, and support your long-term health—not just short-term scale drops.

What Is Body Analysis?
What Is Wellness Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy? (HBOT)?
Body Analysis is a comprehensive body composition and risk assessment, performed with a medical-grade analyzer plus key circumference and strength measurements.
In a few minutes, we can:
- Measure fat, muscle, water, and bone-related metrics
- Map where fat and muscle are distributed across your body
- Estimate metabolic demands, such as basal metabolic rate and daily caloric needs
- Identify potential cardiometabolic risk markers, such as visceral fat patterns and waist-hip ratio
Body Analysis is a planning and monitoring tool. It is not used to diagnose disease or replace care from your primary care provider, cardiologist, or endocrinologist.
What Our Body Analysis Measures
To keep your plan data-driven, your Body Analysis session can include the following categories and metrics:
1. Basic Measures & Indexes
- Weight
- Height
- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- BSA (Body Surface Area)
- These give a starting point—but we don’t stop here.
2. Body Composition
- We differentiate between fat, lean tissue, and muscle:
- Body fat percentage
- Fat mass
- Lean mass
- Muscle mass
- Skeletal muscle mass
- Soft lean mass
- This helps us see whether you’re losing fat, not just muscle or water, and whether your muscle mass is adequate for your age, sex, and goals.
3. Fat Distribution & Risk Markers
- Where you carry fat can matter more than how much you weigh:
- Visceral fat (fat around the organs)
- Subcutaneous fat (fat under the skin)
- Epidermal/superficial fat
- Trunk fat
- Waist-hip ratio
- Waist circumference
- Android fat (central/abdominal pattern)
- These markers are especially important when we’re assessing cardiometabolic risk and making decisions about the intensity and pacing of your medical weight loss program.
4. Segmental Analysis (Arms, Legs, Trunk)
- We look at each region individually to identify imbalances and weak links:
- Right arm, right leg, and trunk segmental analysis
- Segmental body fat
- Segmental lean mass balance
- This helps us:
- Avoid over- or under-training certain regions
- Understand strength asymmetries that might affect joints or posture
- Track whether fat loss and muscle preservation are happening evenly
5. Water Balance & Edema Indicators
- Fluid status is crucial for both health and aesthetics:
- Total body water (TBW)
- Intracellular water (ICW)
- Extracellular water (ECW)
- ECW/TBW ratio
- Edema index
- Water balance
- These metrics help us spot patterns of fluid retention or imbalance that may impact how you feel (swelling, puffiness) and how we interpret your progress.
6. Bone & Mineral Status
- While we don’t perform DEXA here, our Body Analysis provides bone-related estimates that can inform conversations with your medical team:
- Bone mineral content (BMC)
- Bone mineral density (BMD)
- Bone mass estimate
- Bone mineralization indicators
- These values can support a bigger picture discussion of bone health, especially for women over 40, but do not replace proper bone density testing ordered by your physician.
7. Energy, Metabolism & Aging Markers
- We help you understand how your metabolism is functioning right now:
- Estimated daily caloric needs
- Basal metabolic rate (BMR)
- Metabolic age
- Obesity degree
- Body fat ranking vs. age/sex norms
- This allows us to:
- Build a realistic calorie and protein strategy
- Understand whether your current metabolism aligns with your chronological age
- Set expectations for the pace of healthy weight loss
2. Body Composition
- We differentiate between fat, lean tissue, and muscle:
- Body fat percentage
- Fat mass
- Lean mass
- Muscle mass
- Skeletal muscle mass
- Soft lean mass
- This helps us see whether you’re losing fat, not just muscle or water, and whether your muscle mass is adequate for your age, sex, and goals.
4. Segmental Analysis (Arms, Legs, Trunk)
- We look at each region individually to identify imbalances and weak links:
- Right arm, right leg, and trunk segmental analysis
- Segmental body fat
- Segmental lean mass balance
- This helps us:
- Avoid over- or under-training certain regions
- Understand strength asymmetries that might affect joints or posture
- Track whether fat loss and muscle preservation are happening evenly
6. Bone & Mineral Status
- While we don’t perform DEXA here, our Body Analysis provides bone-related estimates that can inform conversations with your medical team:
- Bone mineral content (BMC)
- Bone mineral density (BMD)
- Bone mass estimate
- Bone mineralization indicators
- These values can support a bigger picture discussion of bone health, especially for women over 40, but do not replace proper bone density testing ordered by your physician.
8. Muscle Quality, Strength & Cardiometabolic Risk
- It’s not just how much muscle you have—it’s how well it works:
- Muscle quality index
- Handgrip strength
- Cardiometabolic risk indicators
- Handgrip strength and muscle quality are emerging markers linked to overall function and health status. They also help guide recommendations about resistance training and protein intake within our program.
9. Circumferences & 3D Body Shape
- We document circumferences and body shape to see what’s changing visually and structurally:
- Neck, chest, waist, hips, thigh, and calf circumferences
- Weight loss/gain trends over time
- Target fat mass
- Target weight
- 3D body shape view
- Body shape index
- Instead of relying on selfies and clothing alone, you’ll see objective changes in measurements and 3D body contour over time.
How We Use Body Analysis in Your Program
Body Analysis is deeply integrated into our Medical Weight Loss Program and broader wellness approach at Beautè Medical Aesthetics.
