The cost of Liquid BBL depends mainly on which filler is used, how much of it is needed and how many sessions it takes. We found no average price for this treatment published by a professional body, so the figures below are reference points, not quotes. This guide explains the five things that drive the price, gives sourced reference figures, and lists what to ask before you pay.
FDA status. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not approved any dermal filler for increasing the size of the buttocks, and it recommends against using injectable fillers for this purpose. Fillers such as Sculptra, Radiesse and Bellafill are approved for specific uses on the face and, in Radiesse’s case, the hands, so their use in a Liquid BBL is off-label. Discuss the risks and alternatives with your provider before deciding. Source: FDA, Dermal Fillers (Soft Tissue Fillers).
What affects the cost of Liquid BBL?
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) says the cost of filler injections varies with the provider’s expertise and qualifications, the type of procedure, the time and effort it requires, and where the office is. For a Liquid BBL, that works out as five factors.
1. The type of filler
Fillers are priced differently. ASPS groups Radiesse, Sculptra and Bellafill together as non-hyaluronic acid fillers, which have a higher average cost than hyaluronic acid fillers.
2. The amount of filler
The more product needed to reach the result you want, the higher the total.
3. The number of sessions
Some fillers work gradually. A 2023 review notes that poly-L-lactic acid, the material in Sculptra, “requires multiple treatment sessions to reach desired results.” More sessions mean more product and more appointments.
4. The provider’s training and experience
ASPS lists the injector’s expertise and qualifications among the things that change the price. The FDA advises choosing a licensed health care provider who is trained in filler injections, and treating the procedure as a medical one.
5. Location and facility
ASPS also lists the geographic location of the office. Prices differ between cities and between clinics.

Reference figures for the cost of Liquid BBL
These are the closest published figures. They come from ASPS’s latest statistics, checked in October 2026.
| Procedure | ASPS average cost |
|---|---|
| Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers | $715 |
| Non-hyaluronic acid dermal fillers (such as Radiesse, Sculptra, Bellafill) | $901 |
| Surgical Brazilian butt lift (fat grafting) | $7,264 |
Two cautions apply. The filler figures describe treatments in approved areas such as the face, not the buttocks, so they are context and not an estimate for a Liquid BBL. The surgical figure is the surgeon’s fee only. ASPS says it does not include anesthesia, operating room facilities or other related expenses.
Long-term cost: fillers need repeating
The first treatment is not the whole cost. The FDA notes that because some fillers are absorbed by the body over time, patients may need to repeat the procedure to maintain the effect.
For facial use, the American Academy of Dermatology gives typical ranges of 6 months to 1 year for calcium hydroxylapatite (Radiesse) and 1 to 3 years for poly-L-lactic acid (Sculptra). How long these fillers last in the buttocks has not been established by the FDA. Our post on how long a Liquid BBL lasts covers this in more detail.
When you compare prices, compare the expected cost over several years, including maintenance.
Cost of Liquid BBL at Beauté Medical Aesthetics
Beauté Medical Aesthetics uses Radiesse and Sculptra for Liquid BBL. The price depends on the product and volume planned for you, so it is confirmed at your consultation.
We have partnered with Afterpay, PatientFi and Cherry so that treatment can be paid for over time. Liquid BBL is an off-label use of these fillers. Our disclaimers page explains what off-label means.
Why the cheapest option can cost more
A low price is not a saving if the product or the injector is not what it should be. The FDA warns people to:
- never buy fillers online, because they may be counterfeit or not approved for use in the U.S.;
- never inject themselves;
- avoid injectable silicone, which is not approved for any body contouring and can cause long-term pain, infection, scarring, permanent disfigurement, stroke and death.
Correcting a complication can also be costly. The FDA says removing filler may require injections or surgery, and that it may be difficult or impossible to remove fillers that are not made of hyaluronic acid. See Is Liquid BBL safe? for the risks in full.
Questions to ask about price
- Which product will you use, and how much of it?
- How many sessions are included in this quote?
- How long should I expect the result to last, and what would maintenance cost?
- What does the price include, such as numbing, follow-up visits and any touch-up?
- Who will inject, and what is their training?
- What happens, and who pays, if there is a complication?
Frequently asked questions
Does insurance cover the cost of Liquid BBL?
No. ASPS says health insurance does not cover dermal fillers.
Is a Liquid BBL cheaper than a surgical BBL?
It depends on the volume used and how often it is repeated. The ASPS average surgeon’s fee for a surgical BBL is $7,264 before anesthesia and facility costs. Fillers are temporary, so their cost recurs. Our comparison of Liquid BBL and surgical BBL looks at the differences beyond price.
Why do quotes vary so much between clinics?
Clinics use different products, volumes and session plans, and injectors differ in training. Ask each clinic the questions above so that you are comparing like with like.
